Negotiations have produced a tentative agreement which will be presented to your officers this Tuesday evening and will be presented to you the following Tuesday, November 10th. Ballots will be mailed in the very near future so watch the schedule and the mail for ratification instructions.
These economic times being what they are, the modest pay bump, increases in safety incentive program, along with efforts to control overtime that should distribute available hours throughout the seniority roster, this agreement should have something to benefit all.
Arrangements have been made to present the agreement Tuesday, November 10th, at the Aerospace Machinist Hall (same place we hold our monthly meetings). Members of the Negotiating Team will be there from 9:00 am through our regular monthly meeting from 1800 - 2000. I know you're anxious to hear all the details so we'll look forward to seeing you at the hall at some point during the day, one week from Tuesday.
