Election Results
Election Returns were about as expected, with eighty-two ballots returned. Seventeen ballots were ineligible - members on E-49 status. We have bad addresses for five members, and six members failed to place their return address on their ballots, therefore they could not be opened. The remaining fifty-four ballots broke down as follows:

The constitution requires a candidate to receive 50% plus 1, therefore we do not have a winner. Per the constitution, ballots will be re-issued with only the top two recipients. Ballots should be issued within the next few days, to be postmarked for return by February 3rd. Ballots will be collected from the PO Box the morning of February 10th and counted at our regular meeting that evening. If the eventual winner is present, they will be sworn in at the meeting and assume their duties immediately.
With ski season in swing, we should have fewer members on E-49 status, giving more the opportunity to vote! Be sure to follow the instructions and include your return address on the mailing envelope!
