Brothers and Sisters,
I urge you to extend a sympathetic hand to your fellow members and wash rack employees, as they are being subjected to some of the wildest and harshest harassment I have ever heard of. With half a dozen or more employees working on the wash rack sharing a single unisex restroom, the women are told they cannot use the multi unit facility off the shop throughway "Because that is Miss Loretta's Personal Washroom." I would personally suggest the use of their supervisors desk drawer, though that would not allow for much privacy, what with the line and all!
It doesn't stop there. The detail crew, which appears to be "Miss Loretta's" daughter and some of her friends, have on occasion been assigned work on the wash rack while full time Union Members sit at home. Insult to Injury, the Company then took steps to deny unemployment compensation to those members deserving those funds. On a side note, it is rumored the "detail crew" is being paid from a different checking account. Could that mean they aren't legal employees of Holland America d/b/a Gray Line of Seattle?
Most recently, the wash rack supervisor's supervisor personally informed our Union Wash Rack members he would not place his definition of full time in writing because we were too dumb to read! Mind you, this is not a quote. That language should not be on the internet!
So, whenever the opportunity permits, lend a supportive hand to your fraternal brethren. They certainly deserve it!
