TO ALL LOCAL 161 MEMBERS

All members should review their April 1, 2004 paycheck and Earnings Statement to verify that the correct new pay rate was used to compute their payroll. Use the new “Drivers Payroll Timesheet” you received for that pay period to cross check the regular pay rates shown in the “earnings section” on your check.

The new pay rate went into effect on March 19. You should have received pay at the higher rate for work you performed on March 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23.

Members have reported not receiving pay at the correct higher rate for those dates. A “Payroll Inquiry” may be submitted to GLS Accounting if you find an irregularity.
