Twenty-six people attended our April monthly meeting. This was far less than expected with a dues issue to be voted upon, however those present provided plenty of thoughtful discussion. After all was said and done the ballots were tabulated and the measure passed 17 - 9.

The new dues structure, and all associated with it cannot go into effect  until such time as the International approves a local by-law detailing the new method by which dues are to be collected from  Part-Time employees. As stated at the Union meeting, I do not know what that time frame will be however as soon as I know, that information will be posted here as well as the Union Bulletin Boards in the Driver's Room and the bulletin board in the Shop Break Room.
