At the upcoming January Union Meeting, Dues will be discussed at great length. In addition to accepting nominations for Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, members will be presented with our proposal for dues increase. I know this is a nasty subject for most of you, but you must know there has not been an increase in local dues in over thirteen years. With the radical increases in operating cost, doing nothing is not an option.

Our officer positions are severely underpaid. There have been no raises for these positions in twelve years. We must align our officers salaries with the services which they render, in order to attract individuals to run for office. In the coming days, I'll be posting more information regarding dues, how they are spent, and what your officers do for you.
