The Company has developed a plan for the airporter that in all probability will improve ridership and visibility. This plan is contingent upon port approval of using smaller vehicles and pick up zones inside/under the garage, alongside our competition.
The plan involves breaking the eight downtown hotels into two sections, drastically shortening the time involved in negotiating the city. Additionally, small vehicles will be added to the service to cover outlying hotels during peak hours, switching to on-demand service similar to the connector service of old.
With exception of light rail, we remain the least expensive option between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac airport. Our advantage to light rail will be convenience and now time.
This plan is going to begin Monday June 28th and will no doubt incur questions from those of you involved. I encourage you to look at this enthusiastically, as it may very well mean the savior of the Airport Express as we know it.
There are additional issues surrounding the Airport Express being actively pursued by your officers. The nature of these items cannot be discussed at this time. More information regarding these issues will be available as soon as possible.
